Call for Proposals
The Magnolia State School Counselor Association is soliciting proposals for our in-person conference September 30 - October 2, 2024 at the Sheraton Refuge in Flowood, Mississippi. Sessions will be sixty minute break-outs promoting evidence-based programs in the domains of academic, college and career readiness, and social/emotional development highlighting the latest techniques and practices in school counseling. Presentations need to showcase proven programs, current research, or skills of value to counselors (Pre-K to post-secondary) as well as district personnel, graduate students, and school counselor educators.

- Submit this proposal, including a resume/CV for the primary presenter, by May 10, 2024. Proposals of a political, marketing, or for-profit nature will NOT be accepted.
- You will be notified by May 13, 2024 with the committee's decision regarding your proposal.
- This form is for only one presentation proposal. You may complete and submit additional proposals in a separate form. Each person may only present twice, no matter if a primary presenter or co-presenter. Limit of three total co-presenters per session.

Proposal Requirements
- Name, Email, Organization, and CV/Resume for the lead presenter and any co-presenters
- Session Title (75 characters or less)
- Session Description (150 words or less)
- Learning Outcomes (3 outcomes, 100 characters or less each)
- Audience (Elementary School Counselors, Middle School Counselors, High School Counselors, Counselor Educators, Graduate Students)
